What the result means
The formula uses waterline length, beam, draught and a factor for the hull shape. The area is rounded up to the next full square metre, matching the configurator. The litre value is the theoretical requirement before rounding to available pack sizes.
Allow for the real substrate
Hull shape, rough or absorbent substrates, application tools and unavoidable losses can increase consumption. Product selection, primer system and number of coats must follow the current technical data sheet.
